After 16 years, “Gio Ponti quanto mi piaci” (1998), one of the pieces of Gianni Veneziano‘s important ceramic production, has been reinterpreted by the same author. A ceramic vase used also as candle holder, whose soft and round lines are inspired by the ’50s and ’60s, and whose title is a clear homage to Gio Ponti.
A sort of life ID card, tattooed on the surface of things, is the key to understanding this new edition, which gives life to a unique piece in which flora and fauna become instruments of dialogue in a representation of life without boundaries. A mix of clear and hinted signs with active amazement, charm and ingenuity leads us to hope for an afterlife.
