H2OC is a sit-on washbasin. The project designed by Luciana Di Virgilio combines the metaphor of the sedimentation process and the crystallisation- that lead to the creation of the marble- with the metaphor of the heart, which is seen as the primum movens for both the spiritual and emoziona life.
The material used is “bianco carrara”, a marble from the great history.
It is Italian from the Apuane Alpes and it was used to embellish the buildings back to Julius Caesar’s age, as much as it is used worldwide in the present time. Undoubtedly it is the most renowned Italian marble in the world. It recalls the fresh and white snow cover embellished with delicate and crystal grey threads that enhance its material.
